Services Provided
Consider It Energy provides independent energy advisory and HVAC design services including:

EnerGuide-style home energy evaluations
-
HVAC air system design (load-based sizing and duct/system recommendations)

Energy efficiency reporting and recommendations
-
Documentation support for rebate programs (BC Hydro, FortisBC, CleanBC)
All services are advisory and design-based unless otherwise stated in writing.
No Installation or Engineering Services
Consider It Energy does not perform HVAC installation, electrical work, or regulated professional engineering services requiring licensing or stamping unless explicitly stated.
All recommendations are based on industry-standard methods and field observations and are intended for informational and planning purposes only.
Final installation, system selection, and code compliance decisions remain the responsibility of the homeowner and/or licensed contractors.
Client Responsibilities
Clients agree to:

Provide accurate and complete property information

Ensure safe access to the property at the scheduled time

Disclose any known site hazards before the visit

Obtain necessary permissions for access where required
Consider It Energy is not responsible for inaccuracies due to incomplete or incorrect client information.
Scheduling & Access

Appointments may be booked online, by phone, or email

Confirmation is required prior to service delivery

Arrival windows may vary due to travel and site conditions

Missed appointments due to lack of access may incur a fee

Rescheduling is available with reasonable notice
Cancellation Policy

Cancellations under 24 hours may be subject to a fee

No-shows may be charged up to the full service fee

Weather or safety-related cancellations will be rescheduled at no charge
Payment Terms

Payment is due upon completion unless otherwise agreed

Reports may be withheld until payment is received

Reports & Deliverables

Rebate Program Disclaimer

Rebate approval is determined by program administrators (BC Hydro, FortisBC, etc.)

Eligibility is not guaranteed

Clients are responsible for contractor quotes, installation, and submissions unless otherwise agreed
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:

Consider It Energy is not liable for indirect or consequential damages

Total liability is limited to the amount paid for the service

No guarantees are made regarding savings, performance, comfort, or rebate outcomes
Site Safety & Right to Refuse Service

Safe site access is required for all work

Services may be refused or stopped if conditions are unsafe

Unsafe conditions include structural hazards, electrical risks, or dangerous environments
Intellectual Property
All reports, calculations, and HVAC design materials remain the property of Consider It Energy unless otherwise agreed in writing.
